This test is way biased to the left.

This test is biased because it was designed to be so, from the very beginning.

It is a complete political manipulation: look at who designed it, and why they designed it this way.
Their goal is to convince you that the "people" are, in fact, governed by fascists, and that western democracy is an illusion.

You should ask yourself why they want you to believe that.

You're right. A system that only presents a choice between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is absolutely perfect and any changes will make it worse.

When did you turn into EcK?l

If Macron had lost to Le Pen as a result of running a tepid campaign and only displaying any energy or initiative when fending off challenges from people to his left, what would you think ? Would you still think the system is perfect? Because that's basically what happened in the U.S. in 2016. Perhaps it's different in Europe, but any hope of "stability" in the U.S. is a lie.

(1) Eck is a supporter of Le Pen and Trump. Blackmail, however, is a member of the French green party (EELV). I hope you can notice the difference.

(2) I never said that any political system is perfect. However, despite my own leftist bias, I do not think that Biden or Harris are some kind of power-hungry fascists, even if this test wants you to believe there is no real difference whatsoever between them and Donald. And the proof that the American democracy still works (even if it really has to be amended somehow)... is the fact that Trump eventually lost. But not from a good margin, I concede.

(3) This test remains heavily biased. I can't stand obvious manipulation... ESPECIALLY if it comes from my own political side. Lying to people always ends up turning against you.

Hum. I’m not a le pen supporter at all. I just think Macron is a lying piece of shit. I do not trust nor want to be governed by hypocrites and liars. We clearly differ in that ethical stand. But I’m not surprised given that you can’t seem to be willing to make a post without massaging the truth.

Lying to me would involve calling major media outlets in the U.S. leftist.

And there is no fucking way things are going to get better in the country if people in the U.S. continue to consider the corporate/upper class controlled Democratic party as some sort of "leader" to follow for the American left, as some sort of authority entitled to special respect.

We don't owe them a fucking thing.

They must be challenged.
They must be challenged when they refuse to go after Wall Street because it would "destabilize" society.
They must be challenged when they nominate people who supported bogus imperialist wars proven to be disasters as some sort of "pragmatic" choice.
They must be challenged when they put people who should obviously retire in charge of Senate judiciary committees.
They must be challenged when they blame their failures on anybody to the left of them rather than accepting personal responsibility for their own ineptitude.

Thankfully, I see the potential for that to emerge as a real possibility.

This idea that activists are at fault for Democrats losing seats because they didn't dare consult on messaging with the people prepared to throw them under the bus once elected is disgusting propaganda.

I approve all of this.

But still... this does not mean that Biden/Harris are the reincarnation of Benito Mussolini.

Complexity.

2020 Political Quiz

I think the current Libertarian stance on the science and healthcare questions pushed that party far down on the list for me.
Those same things, plus education and transportation pushed socialism much higher for me.

There is definitely a difference in how I would categorize myself based on ideal societal functioning (compass), philosophies about society (politiscales) and practical position about policy (isidewith). Yet another set of reasons for never joining a party :)

If the 2024 presidential election were tomorrow, these apparently are where my practical stances on policy would put me:

I look down at my political compass, and see that power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, so my political compass points towards liberal democracy, which limits power by the Separation of Powers.

I'd advise against an Electoral College, though, since that doesn't work out too well.

I will take your advice, Julius, but don't worry, we have a Parliamentary democracy, and we find it easy to dismiss a Prime Minister who isn't performing.

What we lack is Constitutional free speech, all we have is a ruling by the High Court.

However your system is full of high energy, a positive outlook, you are extraordinarily resilient, and highly inventive, while we are laconic.

Actually our system is half way between the British system and the American system. We like to think we have the best of both worlds.

However, although we will remain staunch allies of the USA, in CANZUK we will be moving slightly closer to the British. This will make us a stronger ally of the USA.
