Also, this simply has to be inflationary. The Mexico tariffs should hit first and drive up many prices in the grocery store. Hopefully, that will make the average American take notice. Nothing else seems too.

I just reveived an automated e-mail from the Department of Homeland Security telling me to reapply for an ESTA number if I want to travel to the US in the near future because the old one I paid for in order to be allowed to change planes in Houston on my way to Costa Rica (a pretty ballsy concept to begin with) is about to become invalid.

Yeah, ...no, thank you.



I loved the US as a kid. I had a great time living in Indiana for a year with an American host family as a teenager, visiting an American highschool. As a young adult I considered applying for a Green Card. I have met many great people from the US both here in Europe, online and on travels overseas. There will always be many things I appreciate about the country and its people. But I have no intention of visiting these next few years, however briefly.
