Now, I've lost my job since writing this post, fell deeper into depression, lost all my savings, and am facing homelessness. A new boss came in at my seemingly stable job and thought it would be in his interests to get rid of all the old people and bring in his own people. I recently got a medical waiver approved to join the Navy, though, so I'll probably do that, then use tuition assistance to get my Masters degree in Social Work and go be an independent therapist.
